Prefabricated building

With the rapid growth of the national economy, people’s quality of life is gradually improved, and people’s requirements for housing quality are higher and higher. In order to accelerate urban construction, China began to implement housing industrialization and adopted prefabricated buildings to speed up the progress of housing construction. The basic unit of prefabricated building is concrete precast component, also known as PC component. Its production form is similar to the centralized processing of reinforcement. Modular planning is adopted. Various concrete precast structures are uniformly manufactured in the factory and then distributed to the fabricated construction site.

Assembled on site and built into a building. It was the European and American countries represented by the United States that first proposed and implemented the road of PC housing industrialization after World War II. PC residence has many advantages, such as high efficiency and energy saving, green environmental protection, reducing cost, providing residential function and performance, etc. In the international construction field, the application of PC projects is different from each other and in different regions. It is still in the development and research stage in Chinese mainland. With the continuous pursuit of housing quality, the development of housing from basic living function to the comfort of external environment, and then to the improvement of internal living performance quality, all require the implementation of housing industrialization, and PC housing industrialization is the inevitable trend of the development of China’s real estate industry.

In recent years, various new architectural concepts such as housing industrialization, energy conservation and emission reduction, quality safety and ecological environmental protection have brought development opportunities for PC components. A large number of infrastructure construction in the process of urbanization and large-scale affordable housing are in urgent need of standardization and rapid construction.

Generally, PC component factories are equipped with their own reinforcement processing workshop, which is conducive to the full automatic production from raw materials to finished components, but also saves many intermediate links and increases economic benefits. This virtually contributed to a form of steel bar processing equipment transferred from the site to the factory. PC component factory will introduce some reinforcement processing equipment to produce required reinforcement products. However, as the PC component factory has just recovered in recent two years, the selection and layout planning of equipment are still under exploration.
